Terms of Service
AlumniCare
Last updated: October 4, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of alumnicare.org and related pages operated by AlumniCare LLC (“AlumniCare,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. The site is not a membership agreement
The site provides general information about AlumniCare healthcare sharing and how to contact us. It is not itself a membership contract.
If you enroll, your membership is governed by the membership guidelines, sharing guidelines, and any enrollment agreement provided at that time. If those documents conflict with these Terms on a sharing or contribution issue, the membership documents control.
2. AlumniCare is not insurance
AlumniCare is a healthcare sharing membership, offered in partnership with the National Football League Alumni Association. It is not insurance, not an insurance company, and not a guarantee that any medical bill will be shared or paid.
Monthly contributions are not insurance premiums. Sharing of eligible medical needs depends on the membership guidelines, available contributions, and the other members’ participation. There is no contract of indemnity with an insurer through this site.
Nothing on the site is medical, legal, tax, or insurance advice. Plan comparisons, savings figures, and examples are illustrations. They are not a quote and not a promise of a particular monthly amount, provider result, or sharing outcome. Confirm current terms before you enroll.
3. Who may use the site
You must be at least 18 to submit an inquiry or start an enrollment. You agree that information you submit is accurate and that you have authority to provide information about any household member you include.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Use the site for any unlawful purpose
Submit false, misleading, or another person’s information without authority
Attempt to probe, scrape, overload, or disrupt the site
Copy the site for a competing service
Misrepresent your affiliation with AlumniCare, the National Football League, or the National Football League Alumni Association
We may refuse a form submission, suspend access, or remove content that violates these Terms.
5. Intellectual property
The site, its text, graphics, logos, page layout, and the AlumniCare name are owned by AlumniCare or its licensors. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, or republish site content for commercial use without our written permission.
National Football League and NFL Alumni names and marks are the property of their owners and are used to describe the partnership. They do not grant you any right to use those marks.
6. Third-party services and links
The site may link to association partners, sharing administrators, payment tools, or other third parties. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Enrollment, contributions, and sharing requests may be handled by a partner or administrator under that party’s terms.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information. It is incorporated into these Terms. The policy is available on this website. Privacy requests go through https://www.alumnicare.org/contact-us.
8. Disclaimers
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, and any warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
We do not warrant that any provider will accept a membership, that a medical need will be eligible for sharing, or that a comparison on the site will match a later quote.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, AlumniCare and its members, officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising out of your use of the site, even if we have been advised of the possibility.
Our total liability for a claim arising out of the site will not exceed one hundred dollars (US $100), or the amount you paid AlumniCare for site access in the prior twelve months, whichever is greater. Site access is currently free. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it, and it does not limit rights you may have under a separate membership agreement.
10. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold harmless AlumniCare and its partners from claims, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your misuse of the site, information you submit, or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our own willful misconduct.
11. Changes
We may update the site or these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Membership guideline changes are handled under those guidelines, not only by this page.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [insert state], excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in that state have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of the site, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. You and AlumniCare waive any right to a jury trial to the extent allowed by law.
If you have a membership dispute about sharing or contributions, the dispute process in the membership guidelines applies to that dispute.
13. Miscellaneous
If a provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms are the entire agreement for use of the site and do not create a partnership, agency, or insurance relationship between you and AlumniCare. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a reorganization or transfer of the site.
